Art Radius (center for young art)
Saksala Ridge
the slopes of the Saksala Ridge - a wooded landscape with farms - (under this ridge is Saksala Rock, Europe's largest monolith) - as seen from the future Museum for Young Art
Plans are being developed to found Europe's largest sculpture park in this landscape. The total area will encompass 120 hectares. Sculptures by artists from around the world will be collected. The main body of the collection will remain in the possession of the artists - this open air museum will be 'their' sculpture park - contrary to other collections which have been formed by academics and art historians. For information on the sculpture park you can contact Lucien den Arend at www.denarend.com.
